The Find 7 actually comes in two variants, Standard and Premium, but don’t let the name fool you – even the Standard model packs some of the best specifications you can get on a smartphone right now. And the Premium is a bit better.

High-end build quality has long been a priority for Oppo. The tradition continues with the Find 7. The aesthetics of the Find 7 are quite similar to its predecessor the Find 5, providing an attractive build with steel elements. The back of the handset is either carbon fiber if you have the “Premium” model, or a brushed metal design if you have the “Standard” variant.

The Premium Oppo Find 7 is the first smartphone to pack a 5.5″ QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels aka 2K) display giving it an astonishing pixel density of 538ppi. The display is covered by Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection and can be operated with wet hands. The display is the Find 7’s shining point, but that’s not the only special thing about it. From the processing package to the camera and battery, the Find 7’s specifications are at the very high-end. The Snapdragon 801 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU and the 3GB of RAM put the phone in a very good position, and makes it one of the most powerful phones available right now.

The Standard varient of Oppo’s latest flagship is also available with a 5.5″ 1080p display. Its internals have been slightly downgraded compared to the QHD display version of the phone, but the camera department has seen no changes. The standard version of the Find 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and will pack 16GB of internal storage. This varient will also have a SD Card slot.

At the back of the Oppo Find 7 is a 13MP Sony IMX214 CMOS with a F/2.0 lens and LED flash. It is capable of recording 4K video and 720p slow-motion clips at 120fps. The most important feature of this phone is the camera mode called Super Zoom. It takes 10 photos and merges them into a single 50MP Photo.. There’s also a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The QHD Premium Oppo Find 7 packs a 3000mAh battery, while the full HD, Standard version packs a 2800mAh battery. Oppo had a lot to say about a new battery technology used. It is using “voltage opened loop and multi-step constant current charging” dubbed VOOC, which is capable of charging the battery to 75% in 30 minutes, which is really impressive. The other intresting feature about the Find 7 is the Removable Battery, just like on Samsung galaxy Devices. Yes, you can interchange the battery.

The Oppo Find 7 also has a Stylish “Skyline Notification Light”. This light uses a LGF light guide film that allows the handset to produce a cascade of glowing light, which makes it standout from it’s competition.

The Find 7 offers support for LTE in several regional versions of its handset. For the international model, FDD-LTE is supported on Bands B1/3/7/20 and TD-LTE on Band B40. In Mexico and the U.S., FDD-LTE is supported on Bands B1/4/17.

Software wise the Oppo Find 7 is running Android 4.3 Jellybean and the Skin used is the Colour OS. The Find 7 is has a lot of special features, such as the Gesture Panel. Once in the gesture panel, you can draw programmable gestures to perform a bunch of different tasks. Another extremely useful feature is the ability to double tap the home button to turn off and wake up the phone. The Overall appearance of the UI is similar to what we got with the Oppo N1. Oppo said that this is going to get an update to Android 4.4 Kitkat very soon as well.

The Oppo Find 7’s Standard version will become available from the beginning of April for $499. The Premium version will become available from the end of April for $599. More details on availability by market will be revealed in the coming weeks according to Oppo.

What do you think about this Amazing Device? We would definitely try to get a Unit in for Review if Possible. This device looks so Classy and it is offering some Top Notch Specs and Features as well. The other manufacturers are going to have some serious competition.

I have an Oppo Blu-ray player. even it costed me $500 + taxes + shipping, it produces brilliant pictures and crisp sound and shows those titans how things should be done. Still it rank as #1 bluray player in many ratings, above all the other big brands. Glad to hear about this, and good you introduced to the Sri Lankan people.

Yes Sir, Oppo Produced some Great Devices last year like the Oppo Find 5 & Oppo N1 (The Cyanogenmod Phone) and the build quality is superb plus they are dedicated to send out updates for the issues that we have with the software. Unlike the other OEMs Oppo is allowing people to root and install custom roms; some of their devices some pre rooted. They deserve to be praised in my opinion… Thanks for your comment sir. Stay tuned to Andro Dollar for the latest in Tech 🙂
