Samsung could launch foldable smartphones at MWC 2017

We first saw Samsung’s concept of the foldable and bendable smartphone around 2012, and since then it has been a major talk in the tech community. The closest real thing we saw from Samsung that we can buy right now is the “Edge” screen devices from Samsung even though non of those devices are fully bendable nor foldable. According to a new report by Bloomberg, we could see Foldable Samsung smartphones by next year (2017). They further went on to claim that we could see not just one but two such devices from the tech giant.

According to Bloomberg, the device “folds in half like a cosmetic compact,” while the other sports a 5″ screen in folded form, with the display size increasing to as large as 8″ when the handset is unfolded.

The report also says that one or both devices could be unveiled at next year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
