GTA 6 to go back to Vice City and will be released in 2022

According to a new report, the next big game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, GTA VI (6) will go back to the ever so popular Vice City. The release could be as late as 2022. If you’re a game, you should be pretty familiar with GTA – Vice City, which is a classic that we all still love.

There could be 2 areas in the game – around Miami or Rockstar’s version of South Florida, known as Vice City in the GTA universe, but players will also fly to South America for some missions.

According to the same report, GTA 6 will feature a female character as one of the main leads for the first time in a GTA game, although there are no more details on this at the moment.

While GTA 6 might be set in Miami or Vice City, there’s no info on whether it would return to the 1980s or feature GTA: Vice City’s Tommy Vercetti.

The release date is the saddest part of this report as it says that the release could be as late as 2022 which is quite far away. Going to be quite a long wait but hopefully, if this report is true, I personally am quite excited about the game taking us back to Vice City.

The report is based on a “reliable inside source”, which claims GTA 6 is referred to internally at Rockstar as Project Americas according to VG247.

We are yet to hear any official news on this story from Rockstar Games. Hopefully, we will hear something soon! Stay tuned to Andro Dollar for the latest and Share this with your friends if you’re as excited for Vice City as I am.
