A new report has come out and it allegedly shows off the dimensions of the upcoming flagships from Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly weigh in at 140.14 x 72.20 x 7.30mm. While shorter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S7, this year’s flagship will apparently be wider than the 2016 flagship. According to the report, this is because the 5.7-inch curved screen that is supposed to be on the Galaxy S8 is much wider than the smaller 5.1-inch flat screen used on the Galaxy S7.
With a rumored 6.2-inch curved display, the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are rumored to be 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94mm. These measurements show that the premium model will be taller and wider compared to the Galaxy S7 edge, again due to the larger display.
Yet again we see a home buttonless render which again confirms the rumor of the embedded fingerprint sensor under the display. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus could both be unveiled on February 26th during MWC and released during the week of April 17th.
