Sony-2-in-1-USB

This USB flash drive announced by Sony doesn’t only work with smartphones alone, but with tablets as well.Feautering dual micro USB and USB 2.0 connectors. Its compatible with devices running 4.0.3-4.3,with 4.4 compatibility arriving soon.Fully compatible with USB on-the-go (OTG).

These are much simpler to use rather than using an OTG cable and connecting a flash drive,“Consumers want to let a friend see the photo they just took or share a video easily with as few steps as possible. These new drives combine convenience, peace of mind and performance and are perfect for mobile multi-tasking”, said Viviano Cantu, director of consumer media marketing,Sony Electronics.

This isn’t the first time someone has tried this, though.Verbatim’s OTG 32G USB 3.0 flash drive used a similar concept

There’s always the old fashioned WiFi/Bluetooth/upload/email/etc to share content. But it’s always better to have an alternative

8-,16-,and 32GB storage options are available — and can also be used as an internal storage expansion — as well as three different cap colors. These drives will be available starting January 2014 and will set you back $19.99, $29.99, or $62.99, for the three storage capacities.Who’s interested?
